I know this technically was posted more recently then the edited cole/jonah pic, but I couldn't bear to post these above it.

Yes friends, yet more DS pages! I thought 8 months was big with 6 pages, but so far 9 months has 6 and I'm not sure I'm even half done with 6 pages. I may need to go back and do more of the earlier pictures to balance the book out. My goal is to have the book printed and bound by Christmas. I think it's entirely doable.

Bitten by the DS bug.

Ok so I am finished with months 1-8! yay! I found the best quote. I love it so much I thought it deserved a page all to itself.

sick babies and ds pages

Poor baby J. We took him to the dr. today at Grandma's insistence. Grammy's know best. Poor baby has a double ear infection. Yes, you heard correctly a double as in Both. Ears. Infected.

While I try to do that natural non-antibiotic thing most of the time, sometimes dr's are best. For double ear infections dr's are best. On the brighter side, when he is sick he is very very cuddly and clingy with his momma and this momma loves a cuddly baby j.

So while my poor sick baby with the double ear infection sleeps upstairs I worked some more on his book. I am on 8 months...only 4 more months to go! here are the 4 pages I have so far.






By the way, do not google amoxicillin and look for pics of the medicine to post. It leads to scary pictures to make mommy's paranoid.

Going to bed now, going to check on baby boy, going to possibly sleep on baby boy's floor tonight.

I am completely finished with months 1-6!! Page total so far...24.

6 months!

So here are two 6 mos pages! 2 more 6 month pages for Christmas and then 6 months is done, only months 7-11/12 to go. I haven't decided if the 1 year party goes at the end of the 1st year book or the beginning of the 2nd year book.

I think I might change the Lucky Guy to something like - Rockin' Out.

I need to add date information to the Chicago one. I might also try to do some PS magic and edit out the Hershey Kiss. I wanted to add more pics to this page but I love the background and I couldnt cover it up with a bunch of pics.





I'm on the fence about the design of this one. It's a little bit cheesy. I may redesign it. Any suggtestions?

Wordless inspirations

So lately my posts have been more photographic, less verbose and I think it's because its hard to express in words how much I love my boy. How can I put into words what Jonah B means to his mommy? The perfect words escape me. There are smiles. There is laughter. There are thankful prayers whispered to the Lord.

Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.
